This process explores my evolving relationship with the violoncello through harmonic practice. Starting from my own experience as a classically trained cellist, I investigate what happens when the instrument is approached not only through melodic and technical practice, but through harmony, listening, accompaniment, improvisation, collaboration, and other forms of musical participation.
